Terms of Service

Karigar OS is a technology platform that allows individuals and businesses (“Sellers”) to create their own online store, list products, accept payments, and manage orders. Karigar OS is a service provider, not a seller of any products listed by Sellers. Each Seller is solely responsible for their own products, listings, pricing, fulfillment, and compliance with applicable laws.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a Seller account.
• Accounts are created via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any activity under your Karigar OS account.
• You agree to provide accurate business and contact information, and to keep it up to date.

As a Seller using Karigar OS, you agree that you are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy, legality, and quality of the products you list.
• Setting your own prices, including any applicable taxes (such as GST, where registration is required).
• Fulfilling orders in a timely manner and honoring any policies you display on your store (shipping, returns, refunds).
• Complying with all applicable Indian laws, including consumer protection, taxation, and e-commerce regulations.
• Not listing prohibited, illegal, counterfeit, or restricted items.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Seller account that violates these Terms or applicable law.

The Service is currently offered free of charge during our early access period. We reserve the right to introduce subscription fees, transaction fees, or other charges in the future, with reasonable advance notice to Sellers.

Payments made by customers on Seller stores are processed through our third-party payment partner, Razorpay. Karigar OS does not directly handle or store card or bank account details. Payouts to Sellers are made in accordance with Razorpay's settlement schedule and terms. Karigar OS is not a bank or licensed payment institution; payment processing is facilitated through our licensed payment aggregator partner.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping information and timely dispatch of orders. Where shipping/courier integrations are provided through the Service, such services are facilitated through third-party logistics partners, and Karigar OS is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by such third parties, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving such issues.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• List or sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited goods.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions or misrepresent products.
• Violate any applicable law or infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse the Service's infrastructure.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (product images, descriptions, branding). By uploading content, you grant Karigar OS a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating your store. The Karigar OS name, logo, and platform software remain our intellectual property.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karigar OS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You agree to indemnify and hold Karigar OS harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your products, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or as required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rourkela, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
